It has been a long time since our last news update, shooting 50 races out of 52 weeks has left us without much time for
website news updates, but here we go! We will try to do this more often than we have over the last year.
The road to Loretta's
We have shot the opening Loretta Lynn's Area Qualifier at Cooperland MX and the Echo Valley MX Area Qualifier.
We will be attending the Hangtime MX Area Qualifier as well as Redbud's and Sunday Creek's in Southern Ohio...possibly throw in a regional
after the Pro Outdoor Nationals get underway and Loretta Lynn's will be upon us before we know it.
Check our complete schedule
This year we have developed and are now offering a new product, a first in Motocross Event Photography,
Customized Skateboard Decks, the decks will be wood grain on top with no grip tape, as these are intended for display,
although you could throw a set of trucks and wheels on them and session at your favorite ride spot just as easily. Our decks
are 7 ply and high quality with lots of pop, but believe us...you wont want to skate 'em, they look too nice!
The decks will feature a photo of you on the bottom with a custom graphic separating the 2/3rds of the board with
your photo from the back 1/3rd that will feature your bike number, the graphic color will be chosen by you, we have set
it up so you can match the color of the graphic to your bike brand...Ride Honda - use the red graphic, Kawi gets green and
so on and so on. These are perfect for dad's office wall, or junior's themed motocross bedroom!
Also available to those lucky individuals, we will be offering a Loretta Lynn's graduate deck! The champions get
the wakeboard as we all know, but everyone who just makes it to Loretta's has accomplished something special, so we
will be offering a Loretta Lynn's special skateboard deck to all those individuals who qualify for and race at Loretta Lynn's
in Hurricane Mills. These will only be offered for that race week.
Speaking of new products, Danya and I wish to get you all involved, click "here" to help us
to give you more! Let us know what new customized products you'd like available to order! Also look for Volume 2 of the Racer X Cover Photos coming to a race near you! We've added new designs to add to your
collection of customized Racer X covers!
Thanks to D.C. and the entire Racer Productions crew for allowing our customers to purchase their
favorite riders' photos on their favorite magazine cover!
On the pro side of things, I finally was able to use my strobe lights in Supercross (albeit for a very short length of time).
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Dave Prater (Supercross Manager) for the opportunity to give it a try. The results were incredible
and if the application were more safety friendly it just might have changed the look of SX from what you see
in magazines today. For the record, Live Nation stepped up to the plate
to give it a shot, the application wasn't ideal and someone (we were not told whom) complained about safety so we agreed to turn them off in the name of
safety. At the end of the day these athletes have alot on the line and its just not worth risking injury for a cool photo or two
(even though they are pretty damm cool photos). In the future I will be taking them with me wherever I go, so if you want
incredible detail in low light and action stopped on a dime...look no further.

On the brighter side of things, we will be using them at every round of the BooKoo AX Series this coming winter as well as for
the amateur racers on Sundays. Mike Kidd (MKEG) is well known for his bold promoting style in AX and our strobes are a perfect fit
with that series, the application is safe, the arenas are smaller and its just a better place to do it, and we will be!
As far as the TOE clan is concerned, we are traveling every week, the kids are riding in luxury now as we stepped up from the
189,000 mile Jeep Wrangler Sahara to the brand new Durango Hemi Limited. DVD player, XM Radio, GPS and X-Box keep them entertained...
that is until they ask "Are we there yet?" or exclaim "I have to pee!" - 12 miles after the rest stop where they had to have a
cold pop, which they usually spill trying to hold their finger one inch from their sisters/brothers eyeball while saying "I'm not
touching you!". Ahhh parenthood, its what makes life worth living?
No children were harmed in the strobing of this image
Disclaimer* CSB - They each have their own seatbelt now and regardless of what they might say, we do feed them at least once a day!
All kidding aside we have enjoyed all the traveling and meeting of new people, were looking forward to the Outdoor Nationals
and seeing you all again this year, as always stop by our trailer and ez-up to pop in and say hello!

If you dare....
