The Lone Star State, Texas, loves its yellow roses, female motocrossers are no exception!
Cycle Ranch, who plays host to the "biggest female motocross race" in the world, was happy to have the best female
racers in the world at their facility all week long through Thanksgiving. The likes of Stefy Bau, Sarah Whitmore,
the overall winner Tara Gieger, as well as tough as nails Jessica Patterson, and Stefy Laier all were present and
looking their best, on the track that is, these chicks haul ass!
I have never seen style like this from a woman before, she gives Kevin Windham a run for his money in the smooth and powerful
category. WOW, say hello to Anine Akre from Lommedalen, Norway, she is the 2004 Norwegian champion.

Tara Gieger fresh off her backflipping stint at TP's house shot down to Florida to clean up down there and then
drove over to Texas in a last minute rush and got the overall there, too! This girl is on a roll. She managed to
overcome the (until then) undefeated Steffi Laier. Tara looks to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming 2005 season.

Sarah Whitmore was also at Travis' house flipping freely into his foam pit (and on dirt with a 110 ...WTF???)
Her return from a bout with Epstien-Barr virus netted her a 6-3 for fourth overall. Not bad, Sarah! At least if she
doesn't fully recover from Epstien-Barr she knows she will have a future in moto-journalism, check out Sarah's new
column in Racer-X every month, and check her out below mixing it up with the other ladies.

Stefy Bau was her usual strong, aggressive self and she landed a signature helmet made by M2R - the first for
a female Motocrosser! WTG Stefy!

Kaide Garrett busted out with Sick Racing's brand new race pant and jersey and was looking "pretty in pink".
Hey, who says female motocrossers can't be cute when they sweat? Kaide has been steadily improving and is looking
forward to the WMA's pro schedule in 2005. Good luck to you and Sick Racing, Kaide :)
