5/30/2004 - RC mentioned in the press conference that he was glad to have the bobble and to have to work for the wins, however, James was a little more fortunate .... running away from everyone and hiding in lappers for the easy win ...... he was never found, in fact....he didnt even show up at the press conference, MAN that kid is fast!

5/30/2004 - After going a little too fast into the right hander at the bottom of the hill after the start ( several laps in ) RC fell when his rear wheel slipped out and he cross rutted, he managed to keep his bike running and remounted quickly, Reed was never out of his sights and the champ reeled him back in within a lap or two, to Chad's credit he hung with Ricky pretty solid for some good laps but once again Carmichael showed everyone why he is the reigning outdoor champ!
5/29/2004 - The High Point facility has never looked better, weather conditions were perfect today and if the rain holds off till tomorrow evening it should promise to be an awesome day of racing!
