Tony E. Scavo
"Photography to me is an expression of my personality that
I can portray through an image by using all of the prerequisites
I have learned over 22 years of shooting. Adding in that little
something that wasn't taught to me or read in a book is what makes
my photography unique."
Photography is a craft; a craft that is losing ground to technology.
Thankfully, technology helps an already good photographer become an even better one. Adversly, technology also
allows an amateur shooter to rely too much on that technology if they lack skill
and experience.
A skilled photographer
can take a camera, compose the image they want in their mind, then
use their camera to output that image for their client. That process
is much more than just allowing the camera to do it's job. Afterall,
the camera is only a tool. The photographer is the composer, the adjuster
of light, the focusing eye, and the split second decision maker that
creates the masterpiece his camera will capture.
